Steve Kelly CEO/Founder
Steve is an international business professional with over 20 years experience specialising in technology ventures, particularly early stage. Steve has extensive experience in Intellectual Property exploitation, VC funding and launching new technology to market. In 2009, Steve founded SmartKem to develop smart chemistry and processes for the printed electronics industry.

 
Dr. Russell Griffiths - Senior Scientist
Dr. Griffiths is a highly qualified scientist in the area of Organic Synthetic Chemistry. He was a senior research scientist for Avecia Chemicals for 6 years designing and synthesising the first commercial generation of organic semiconductors for the Flat Panel Display sector. This business was later sold to Merck chemicals as a significant financial success.

 
 

Dr. Michael Cowin - Head of Product Development
Dr Cowin is an experienced specialist in the development and commercialisation of early stage technologies. He has a PhD in Polymer Integrated Circuits and over 15 years experience in the successful development and delivery to market of technologies with companies and organisations such as Bookham, Allied Signal, Akzo Noble, DSTL, EADs, RAL, JPL and ESO.
