SmartKem produces fully functionalised organic semiconductor (OSC) molecules from a pure synthetic method. These molecules have inherently high electronic mobility performance.
These OSC materials are p-type small molecules which are highly stable and soluble in a selected range of solvents. SmartKem has perfected a purificatiion method to greater than pharmaceutical standards that eliminates any trace elements from shorting or contaminating the electronic device.
SmartKem has also synthesised complimetary polymers that work alongside the OSC materials in an ink formulation to enhance the overall performance
The synthetic method used to produce SmartKem's molecule portfolio has been perfected to allow scale-up for industrialisation purposes.
